Be who you want to be:
The other day I was reading a great article it was about people’s biggest regrets in life, and at the top of the list was confidence (This is one thing I feel I lack sometimes). This is one thing people wish they’d had more of. They wish they’d be more confident in what they do and who they are. Having confidence is often the defining factor in what allows people to do thing and to chase/follow their dreams and not wonder what if.
Of course everyone knows that confidence isn’t something you can just purchase. However, there are certain things you can do to help you gain more confidence. Here are some things I think you can do to make yourself feel more confidence in yourself.
Look A Million Dollars – The way we look has so much over how we feel this is because it is a big part of who we are. This is the only part people can see at first. So work on your self-confidence you can do this by starting with your self-image. Take a shower, shave your legs, wash your hair. All of these things will take a huge impact/part on how you feel when you take a look in that mirror.
Smile Like You Mean It – Smiling has been proved to have a big impact on our state of mind. If you don’t believe me, then I would suggest you try it. Next time you are out walking and you start to feel a little anxious, try smiling, put your headphones in and listen to music something that makes your happy and makes you smile. I feel that this tiny step tends to lead to a chain reactions on the body it starts with just a smile and can you on a journey.
Be the change you want to see – We can all absorb so much confidence by installing it into others we always make them feel great. Giving someone a compliment always make them feel good. This can be something like what they are wearing, their style, their personality. Giving confidence to others helps them be the best person they can. This incredible effect on our own levels of confidence. But you can’t just talk the talk, you have to walk the walk. I always believe going out of your way to help others is a great thing to do in life. This can trigger a new found confidence.
To Know Who You Really Are – This is something that is becoming harder and harder to do in life. There is so much noise that fills our lives on a day to day basis. One of them has got to be social media this is one of the worst the fact that we are all famous in some degree, in some circles. This can equate a lot of pressure to handle, we then start presenting ourselves so we can be seen without ever really giving ourselves the chance without giving ourselves a chance to get to know who we are. For me if you want to be able to find self-confidence. Put down your phone, go for a walk, go on holiday, maybe take up a new hobby, do something you enjoy whatever it maybe.
Be proud of who you are and always remember that in life there is no competition. Just always remember to be yourselves.
