Raffle Fundraiser for Mia –

Hope everyone enjoyed the Easter bank holiday.
I’m writing this blog today on behalf of a friend who is raising money for a little girl called Mia who has cancer.
Here is a short story about Mia.
In May 2016, Mia was diagnosed with high risk neuroblastoma at the age of 4 years old. Since then, Mia has been through a multitude of aggressive treatment and procedures including 3 months of intensive chemotherapy, surgery, a steam cell transplant and radiotherapy. Mia is now 5 years old and with just 4 cycle of immunotherapy left, she’s tolerating the antibody infusions well. If scan reveal that there is no evidence of disease at the end of immunotherapy, this will mark the end of her front line treatment in the UK.
Following this, Mia’s family would like her to access a clinical trial as additional cancer therapy in the hope that it will help prevent a dangerous relapse. Trials abroad can cost hundreds of thousands of pounds which is why they have started a fundraiser with Solving Kids Cancers.
My friend Lyn is fundraising by doing a raffle tickets cost a £1. Raffle will be drawn on the 1st May. Winner will receive a box of JJ’s craftshop goodies worth £20. All money received will be going to Mia fundraising for Solving Kids Cancer.
